Palphot was founded in 1934 by Yehuda and Tova Dorfzaun, the parents of the present owners, who came to Palestine from Germany after the rise of Hitler. Their first product was postcards which they photographed, produced and marketed themselves. After the Six-Day War, as tourists flocked to Israel in droves, they branched out into tourist books and souvenirs, greeting cards and calendars.
Over the past 30 years, Palphot has become the market leader also in branded gifts, stationery and back-to-school products. All these, produced in innovative and contemporary designs with exacting attention to detail and quality, have made Palphot a household name in Israel.
Palphot exports to countries all over the world, both regular lines and custom-made items for various organizations. Exports include illustrated books about Israel, the Holy Land and life at the time of the Bible in over 30 languages. Palphot publishes pictorial albums for Egypt and Jordan and co-productions with leading publishers the world over. Our unique greeting card and original stationery and calendar designs can be found in leading stores all over the world.

Palphot holds licenses for many important international brands and develops them to suit the local market.
Palphot's products include greeting cards, diaries, calendars, back to school products, gift items, souvenirs, guide books, Judaica and so much more. Many of these items are produced in our own state-of-the-art factory and all are distributed by our logistics center.
